Wan to the Ping

We've started our life in Shanghai! Whether you think we're nuts or our life looks like a blast to you, we hope you enjoy the pictures! This starts with our journeys over and shows some of our flat and our first two weeks here. We're exploring the French Concession and setting up our flat, having dinners out, nights in, and getting our lives set up.

You can also go back home if you fancy.

Heathrow. Last minutes of Britain.

30 minutes of Line 1, all the way to the end. Shanghai kicked out 8 major subway lines in 10 years. Some of these are about two years old, the rolling stock is brand new, and, unfortunately, so are the drivers. It's a bit like riding karts. A sudden hard break so that everyone nearly falls over is followed by a sudden power surge because, obviously, he broke to hard. And again. And again.

Shanghai Metro Fun Facts: Trying to get people to adhere to unwritten international travel rules, these arrows should make people wait for people to exit the car first before storming in in masses. It doesn't even get close to working, this metro is a free for all.
